Floyd Mayweather has laughed off an offer of $25million to fight Conor McGregor.

According to Sportfm.az, UFC president Dana White claimed he is prepared to pay the sum to the retired boxer to face his lightweight champion.

But Mayweather responded by telling TMZ that White is "a f****** comedian."

Both fighters have touted the possibility of a blockbuster clash between two of the biggest names in combat sports.

However, while Mayweather retired from the ring in 2015, McGregor is still under an exclusive contract with the UFC.

But White told Fox Sports on Friday: "I'll tell you what Floyd, here's a real offer .

"I'm the only guy that can actually make the offer and I'm actually making a real offer.

"We'll pay you $25million, we'll pay Conor $25million and then we'll talk about pay-per-view at a certain number. There's a real offer."
